Inspired by the botánica; a sacred Caribbean space of healing, memory, and resistance; the 2025 festival positioned itself as a literary sanctuary. Every event was a ritual offering; every story, a medicine for the moment.
The botanical visual language gave the festival a sense of place and intention. Rooting the aesthetic in the apothecary tradition rather than purely tropical iconography created room for sophistication alongside cultural depth.
